Malaysia - Genting Highlands

Genting Highlands, a place that every Malaysian would know. It is the city of entertainment, included casinos, theme parks, shoppings, concerts.. you name it, they have it! The chilly temperature in Genting Highlands is also one of the reasons to attract tourists, since our tropical weather can get really hot!












You will be amazed, if you are first timer to Genting. You could not believe a developing country like Malaysia will have such grand, world-class standard hotels (Don't be too surprised, you'll contribute to these developments if you can't resist but to visit the casinos there!).








There is outdoor theme park for kids, which has various rides to suit children at different ages. Surprisingly there is a small temple for praying! The colourful First World Hotel is the latest hotel built, that serves normal people like us. A room rate that included breakfast could be as low as RM10 (if you are lucky) or Rm40 if you book in advanced!





One not so good thing about Genting is the food is rather costly!! You would expect at least RM15 for a simple meal with drinks. Get your instant cup noodles ready!

On the way, you'll see "Qing Shui Temple" after GohTong Jaya if you are coming from Kuala Lumpur. It is actually quite beautiful though it is still under renovation. It's free entrance, so hey why not pay it a visit!








In a nut shell, Genting is a place for everyone!
